Yeah when I was in 8th grade I had long hair and had a series of fucking terrible haircuts combined with a round face.
I got mistaken for a girl tons of times that year. It wasn't even anyone trying to be mean it was just they legitimately thought I was a girl. My teenage rational way to deal with things was just to ignore them. I was hardcore in the denial stage. I have no fucking idea why.
