This is it. Tomorrow I'm never coming back to this place. I'll try to cut down on 4chan in general, at least until I get my shit together. You guys post way too much porn for starters, and secondly this whole special snowflake negativity vibe is bad too. I suggest other anons do the same.

So we will see you tomorrow then. Have a good night anon.
>>
>>28242692

Same.

The worst part is, you will actually feel yourself getting better by abstaining from 4chan. It only makes the eventual return more painful and pathetic.
>>
>>28242692
I have guitar and weight lifts to work on. I will not come back here. Can't say the same for 4chan but I will definetly not come back to the nsfw boards.
>>
>>28242340
No one cares if you come back or not. You won't be remembered or missed.

Fuck off.

>>
You'll be back.

For introverts social interaction takes effort. The mask of anonymity and the ability to post from the privacy of your NEETcave makes 4chan almost unique amoung other socialisation avenues. It does not cost the introvert energy to post here but they still get the human interaction they crave.

That's why you'll be back. See you tomorrow anonbro
>>
>>28243431
You are wrong. I will join clubs and maybe even make a snapchat.
>>
>>28242340

This is the push I need.
Gunna cut out r9k, I'll still visit /lit/ and /his/. Been here a few years now, but the last 12 months the board has become so toxic. Bye, anons.
>>
>>28243531
You might but after you go a few times you will think "fuck this is a lot of work" and "I don't even like these (or any) people, why go"

Then you'll sneek quietly back into your neetcave and complain bitterly that the world doesn't understand you on here... When actually you don't understand yourself.

Your endgame should be to acquire one or two actually good friends. Only normies / extroverts find enjoyment in clubs and societies
>>
>>28243642
>unironically uses the term normie
This is why I don't have to listen to you. What is an anti normie? I like Gregorian chant and 30s arthouse horror, is that "antinormie"? No, because no matter what you do others do it too. And I will find them

Also, what the hell do you think the point of a club is? Other than making friends
>>
>>28242340
I tried for about 4 months then I come back on April 1st of all times
>>
>>28243720
Really? Have you been to a club lol

Clubs are about gratifying normie egos. Unless your club is D&D or something it'll just be Chad or Stacey and her friends who are in charge and you go along for an hour to do what they tell you or you're out.

^Literally have club I've ever been to

But you know... Go ahead and believe you can just integrate with normies im sure that'll work out boss for you lol
>>
>>28243823
**every club I've ever been to
>>
>>28243823
I think the biggest problem I have is assuming everyone is an autist with interests as (relatively) niche as mine. Thehre not and that's fine because I know it now, and will try to adapt to their own and maybe go from there.

Also, if Chad and Stacy are in every club I'll just try to get on their level. I have already started a workout routine for about 2 months. Stop trying to drag others down anon.
>>
>>28243886
Top fucking kek

Not dragging you down. Just pointing out that if you lived on their level you would never have come here to begin with

I've already been though this "I can be normal" stage. It's exhausting. Trying to save you some time so when you try it you realise your mistake.

>having to TRY not to stand out

See what I mean? You will never fit in at this point. Don't bother.
>>
>>28244219
Dunno what else to tell you man.

How many friends do you have now? If less than 10 chances are you'll never fit in with the normies.

Extroverts tend to have dozens of shallow relationships and introverts tend to have one or two deep relationships. Each can't find what they want in the other group. Extroverts don't form deep relationships and introverts prefer not to form shallow relationships.

Basically just comes down to different social species
>>
>>28244356
Extroverts are happy though, regardless of whether or not they have "shallow" relations. And what constitutes shallow anyway? Most chad types get along quite well and seem to like each other.
>>
>>28244409
>extroverts are happy with their shallow relationships

Well they appear happy and I'm sure some of them actually are.

Doesn't mean you will be happy with those relationships senpai.

Humans have as much variation (if not more than) dogs in their social behaviours. Some dogs are not social at all, and some dogs are. Some are just a little bit social but don't like too much socialization. If you put an unsocial/anti-social dog in with a bunch of social dogs he will just sit in the corner and be unhappy.

Of course if the desire to not socialize is due to abuse in early life then this can be fixed to some degree with training (therapy) but you can't really expect your fundamental personality to change.

Once you realize humans are not blank slates but have definite breed and individualized characteristics much like dogs, the world will make more sense to you.

I tried for many many years to get along with extroverts and live in their shallow relationship world. It is just not for me. If I have to talk about shitty music and the whether and who slept with who all night at a party it just makes me depressed. I want to talk about physics and mars and computers and philosophy. I want to know what the person really thinks, what deep consideration they've given the life the universe and everything... how they tick. The reality is I've discovered that extroverts actually lack this higher level of thought. They look and sound like people, but they are not people in the sense you think of yourself.
>>
>>28244679
This is pretty cringey senpai. I too would like to talk about autistic Mongolian chants but you can't expect everyone to like your 2deep4u shit all the time. I think you just let contranism rain supreme. I think most music and film social setting people talk about is pretty bad but I still try to talk about it and see why they like it.

>>

>still talk about it and see why they like it

You're trying to lift the veil to see into them but there's nothing to see. Again this is your mistaking extroverts for introverts. While you turn your mind's eye inward, they only see outward. It's difficult to get your head around. This is why they are all so obsessed with looks and appearances.
>>
>>28244795
Again I think you are giving yourself too much credit for being a snowflake. At this point you're just hating people for wanting to look good? I mean I don't really care much about fashion but I don't see anything wrong with wanting to look good. The whole "I like being deeply into topics " is so hit or miss. Its either an autist that actually feels that way and can legitimately discuss it independently or the other alternative is its just a manchild that thinks he's too special for everyone. Its usually the latter.

>>

>giving yourself too much credit for being a snowflake
Anything but. I literally will hold a conversation about anything meaningful the other person is interested in.

Think of it this way, would you rather look at graffiti all day or go to a space museum? What's the difference? They're both things to look at. Well space museum has some underlying cause and meaning to it which is interesting to consider. It gives you novel brain stimulation. Graffiti is the same tired repetitive meaningless bullshit (except banksy).

Even considering no other factor the shallowness / emptiness of extroverts alone becomes nauseating. As far as I've ever been able to tell it isn't me because I've tried so so hard to fit into their world and just don't.

>you're just hating people for wanting to look good
Extroverts all want to look the same. Good/bad would require an understanding of aesthetics and critical thought / judgement. I feel like I haven't communicated this well enough if this is still your impression.

>The whole "I like being deeply into topics " is so hit or miss. Its either an autist that actually feels that way and can legitimately discuss it independently or the other alternative is its just a manchild that thinks he's too special for everyone.

You're a conscious entity living in an objective world. It appears you have two basic things/actions you can take.
>thinking a lot about things
>not thinking a lot about things

However I'm trying to tell you that actually you're going to be one way or the other and there's no much you can do about it.

>>28244892
Sure exactly. Small talk without purpose is boring. Boredom is painful and exhausting. I'd much rather do something interesting. Small talk can be a social lubricant but mostly its just the noise of two TVs talking at eachother which is 99% of extrovert conversations.
>>
>>28245098
I don't think youve been in many social settings. Extroverts do not STRIVE to be the same. They just naturally knows what's socially healthy, and give slight variations of their own based off what's normal. There is literally nothing wrong with this.

>>28245098
look, that pic is clearly made by some 2deep4u teenager. I don't know why you're unironically agreeing with it unless you are one.

>Spent 10 years across two universities

>Got stoned a few times

Joined numerous clubs and societies. I've been around a bit. Just sharing my experience and observations. It's ok if you think I'm a teenager. For all you know I am.

Also sounds to me like you might fit in after all. If nothing I've said strikes home you might actually be an extrovert yourself.
>>
>>28245359
It does strike home but I refuse to believe it, I think it's likely something most people go through. If I am then I can't be the only one. Plus I don't know the context of your experiences. Maybe you had it worse than me and are having a more warped perception.
>>
>>28245226
>that pic is clearly made by some 2deep4u teenager. I don't know why you're unironically agreeing with it unless you are one.

Why wouldn't I unironically agree with an exact restatement of my own observations?

This conversation is really boring now as are you. Gl senpai
