when science and technology have advanced to the point where people no longer die and we can bring dead people back, everyone will reflect on what they've done, and if you realize you did a bunch of bad things that made it harder to accomplish you'll feel really depressed/sad/unhappy etc. that's hell, but it won't last forever.
