I have no idea what the big hype is for hard core drugs. Heroin is a huge problem in my area now and I'm in the averagewhitesuburbs. It's causing a lot of people to steal from my store for either drug money or because they're on drugs. A lot of people I went to high school with have died from it, and we're only 22.

People usually OD from shooting up, and when that happens it isn't really pleasant, because it isn't really anything. It's just consciousness one second, then lights out the next. If it fails, it will only really be because someone Narcan'd you, and that's really unpleasant, but it won't really leave you fucked up unless they somehow got you breathing after you'd stopped long enough to cause brain damage.

X pills will have a bunch of binders and shit in them, so railing them doesn't make all that much sense. Plus MDMA works fine orally. If the pills are cut with meth or another real upper, which they could be, I guess snorting might make a bit more sense, but with all the cutting agents, oral is probably your best bet in terms of how to use it.

Most people either choke on their own vomit or their lungs just shut down and starve their brains of oxygen. Of course that all happens after they lose consciousness from an incredibly intense heroin high.
