i'm a fucking IDIOT. i had a rare holographic trading card that sells for $60-100 that i was gonna sell on eBay for some $$$. however, it's curled a bit over time (typical for foil cards) so I thought I'd try to flatten it out a bit. Followed a youtube tutorial for doing so (lots of views, not a troll vid) and now the card has some fucked up weird ripple at the top. it's undoubtedly beyond worthless now :((

I love reading threads like this so much. I love reading about people going through the difficulties of life and just bizzare scenarios like this. Makes me feel good knowing that people are not giving up and still going through with it all.

glad i could help. really, in the long run, $60-100 isn't that much money. just knowing that i did something so dumb to destroy something of value is what really stings. :(
>just knowing that i did something so dumb to destroy something of value is what really stings
that's how I feel about my life, though it may have always been worthless

I know that feel op. A while ago I was making a quiche and after 1.5 hours of work and waiting I took it out of the oven and dropped it face down on the floor. Splattered everywhere and I literally almost killed myself right then and there with a kitchen knife. The shame and anger was just unreasonably intense
>not just putting it under a thick book
Retard or just impatient?
