Have you seen it? Its kinda sad, but its cute
>>28224239
i get that its a comedy it just hits me hard when he finds true love
fucking marley and me
goddamn blindsided me and I criedin front of my whole family
I felt bad for Sarah. Cheating on her bf for a year was fucking brutal but when she broke down and said she tried seeing a counselor while he was just being a useless motherfucker made me sad. The movie made such an idiot out of her.
I'm Here by Spike Jonze. Amazing short film about a beta robot (both literally and figuratively) who meets a roastiebot. The part I like most is the first ten minutes, where you see how incredibly depressing his life is, I think all of us can relate to that. Sucks that there's no HD version on youtube though. https://youtu.be/6OY1EXZt4ok
>>28224305
yea they made him the victim but in reality, sarah was the victim trying to fix their relationship while he did nothing
Adam (2009). this is the saddest i've watched
>>28224372
>Adam (2009)
Oh fuck, that stars Hugh Dancy, he was fucking amazing in Hannibal. I guess he's just very gifted at portraying spergs because he also plays one in Hannibal. Torrenting that movie you mentioned right now.

>he's never been in a position where Chad steals his girl
REEEEEEEEEEE
the funeral at the end
> Dead Cuties

You never think you're going to cry at a movie about Grandma fucking.

Melancholia, it is my favourite movie. Watch it if you haven't seen it.
This movie kills me...
Anybody else?
>>28224201
Watch Dear Zachary if you want to cry. It's not comfy, though. It's almost traumatic to watch. Also it's only effective if you have regular levels of empathy (i.e. not an autist) and don't already know the story behind the documentary
I liked submarine.
>>28226039
I like von Trier a ton but I can never make it much farther than 10 minutes in this one. Antichrist is my favorite by him because it's basically if /r9k/ made a horror film.
>>28226188
I feel so much like both Claire and Justine, the characters make the film for me. I think it's almost the perfect character study. Every time I watch it it gets better.
>>28226150
>le baby i actually dead twist
I really don't understand how that shitty movie became such a normie staple.
>>28226169
that movie's sad as fuck, i imagined life like a movie as well so i could relate a lot
>>28226252
I already said you have to be not autistic to get it
>>28224289
Watched it in theaters when it first came out. It really did come out of nowhere and even now I still tear up. Only other movie to do that was the newer Astro Boy movie.
I thought straight outa compton was pretty sad. I knew the story of eazy and shit but still when he just starts balling after he learns he has AIDS.
>>28224201
sad to me
>>28225879
I watched this one on the 20th, it legit made me tear up.
Children of Men or The Road
>>28224201
Dark Horse.
It's an insidious film that describes itself as "comedy", but it's pretty depressing.
Christ this movie made my feels overload to the point that my corneas sent signals to my lachrymal glands to produce a salty liquid substance
>>28224201
excision, the wall is the utmost comfiest.
Click. Not even joking, that movie got fucking depressing. I think it hit that much harder because I just wasn't expecting it.
>>28226305
Honestly that movie could've been way better because in real life all of NWA hated eachother for a while before eazy got aids and his disease is what put dre and ice cube on the trajectory to making better life choices. It's still emotional but it was nowhere near as impactful as it was changing their lives.
Lion the ProfessionaI

> cheating bitch is the victim
FUUUUCK OFF ROASTIES
Not really movie but Morel Orel gets super fucking depressing in some episodes.
>you will never have friends like you did at 12
>>28226169
just watched it b/c u posted it and gotta say i didnt really enjoy it
>>28229606
watched all of moral orel it was pretty sad.. especially the songs
It's a bittersweet ending without some bullshit cop out on the initial premise.
>>28226081
Same I find it comfy and I like the atmosphere of the movie
Also Garden State
Not sure if it's sad enough.
But since it's mainly located in a paralel universe where people end who kill themselves, I like it. Also people can not smile in that world.
Portrays women the way r9k sees them.
>>28227102
sometimes I find that film sad but others I kind of like the fact they pay the price for being criminals.

Cuck: the movie -,,,,,,,,,,,,,
>>28224201
It's about Robin Williams being a single parent and raising his son (the boy from Spy Kids) who is an ungrateful dick to his dad. Robin always tried to love him because that's all he had.
In the endthe son accidentally erotically hung himself. Robin tried to cover it up as a suicide for his son's dignity but spills the beans eventually.
The soundtrack has Queen in it and song sad songs, it's pretty good and I'm surprised this movie wasn't popular.

Those film are just soo fucking heartrenching, so hard to watch the car accident in Childern of men and the road was just the most depressing film I have ever seen
