I'm basically an underpaid ASM, so I can do whatever the fuck I want and know how to do everything aside from most of the back end paperwork. It also helps that I know I'd have to outright steal to get fired. I do bank runs, I know all of the manager tricks to make registers pay out for bullshit they shouldn't be paying out for and have it still square out at the end of the day, I have a ton of sway over scheduling, I do the drawer counts and the safe counts, and it's to the point where the manager doesn't know how to do the front end stuff anymore because I make sure it's all just taken care of. It kills me that I'm not paid more.
