It's not serious debate or considered analysis, it's just stating a controversial or shocking opinion and then milking it for attention. I think a major problem with far-right, populist movements is that they're very crass and vulgar.
Instead of talking about how politics can be used as a mechanism to achieve aesthetic ends, and talking about the virtues of a distinct nation state with a strong sense of hierarchy, it's often all "HURR SMELLY NIGGERS AND FAGGOTS, BIG BLACK DICKS KEKING US, BEANER SCUM."
