You are better than I am! And I have been drawing for a long time, but I never did the whole critique and hardcore studying thing so I am still pretty sloppy. But as you can probably tell, I compromised a lot of technical skill in the way of style so its just my thing I guess, I feel like I still draw like a 14 year old though

A lot of my drawings have other drawings going through them lol because I draw them so crowded and kinda hurriedly. Plus, a lot of what I draw is just "scratchy sketches" that don't turn into anything or are to practice

Also I had a seizure and i feel like it really affected my brain, it set back my progress and made me lazy and I didn't really progress like I should have </3 otherwise I woukd probably be on anatomy and all that and not stuck on faces

Aw, shucks. Thanks anon, that does make me feel better. I like your style too, lol I like that girl you just posted. I do love drawing, it was very discouraging though when I noticed I was doing worse and I had to relearn things I thought I already knew, too bad I didn't go to physio or anything. A positive would probabbly be thst setting me back and developing those bad habits gave me the obstacle of identifying them and being forced to learn technical over style . I think that's why i do a lot of scribbly basic line things nowadays, I want to get the shape and proportions right, as well as the "look" I'm going for, if that makes any sense.

and i understand what you mean, and all i can say is keep practicing, perhaps buy some anatomy books for the basics, and one tip that really helps is "copying" from the grand masters, if you try to copy their drawings you might learn different techniques and you will notice that you will use them in your future drawings
