Please help me.
My normie friend says the answer is 26, but it's clearly not 26. I think the answer is 26.41421356237
And I can prove it.

I get where you're coming from anon, here is the normie way:
3A = 60

A + 2B = 30

B - 2C = 3

>-2C = -2
>therefore: C = 1
A + B + C = ?
>20 + 5 + 1 = 26

And here is the robot/autism way:
same until B - 2C = 3
>interpet two juxtaposed chillies as a multiplication operation since addition hitherto has been explicitly a plus sign
>B - C*C = 3
>-C*C = -2
>therefore: C = sqrt(2) = 1.41421356237
A + B + C = ?
>20 + 5 + 1.41421356237 = autism = 26.41421356237

>>
>>28164393
when you look at 2 peppers together in real life do you see 2 peppers or pepper^2?
>>
>>28164316
>>28164315

Okay
Taco = T
Burrito = B
Chilli pepper = C

T + T + T = 60
T + B + B = 30

From that, we can establish that T = 20 and B = 5

5 - C^2 = 3.
C^2 = 2

C + T + B = ?
Square root of 2 + 20 + 5 = 26.41421356237

>>
>>28164273

3xtaco = 60, ergo taco = 20
1 taco + 2 wraps = 30 hence 1 wrap = 5.
1 wrap (5) - 2 Chili peppers = 3
Chili pepper has to be 1 each

Chili pepper (1) + Taco (20) + Wrap (5) = 26

>>
>>28164725
we sadly can't link the information given by the third equation to the one the problem asks us to solve as the symbols of 2 chilis and 1 chili used to signify the variables are different and the problem doesn't give us a fifth equation that links the two. as a result the solution isn't unique since, once we solve the system, we have 2 variables and one equation. this isn't an identity, so we can't hope to get a number as solution, but in quality of equation, we get a space of solution consisting of infinite -tuples of real numbers, depending on the space in which the equation takes place (for example in the real plane it would be an infinite amount of couples of real numbers, which form a line, in the complex space the solutions would line up to form a plane)
>>
>>28164419
>1*1 =2
Yep, you're might autistic. Not the good way though.
>>
>>28164847
You don't need a fifth equation to link the two, this isn't theoretical math, it's a brain teaser for kids. Two chilis is obviously twice one chili.
>>
>>28164865
I could concour if in the third equation we would've had 2 not overlapping, clearly copypasted chilis. however, the fact that the chili in the back is partially covered by the first one doesn't allow us to infer a correlation bewteen the last two equations, since the covered part could be missing or the foreground chili could be covering more than what we'd be inclined to think.

Taco is 20, cause 3 x 20 = 60

Burrito is 5, cause Taco is 20, so 20+5+5 = 30

Two Chilli is 2, cause Burrito is 5. and 5 - 2 is 3, so assumedly One Chilli is 1

1 Chilli + 1 Taco + 1 Burrito = 1+20+5= 26

Where you getting those decimals from, retard?
>>
>>28167636
He's reading two chilies as xx, or x^2, rather than 2x. This is correct in a mathematical sense, since two numbers beside each other are multiplied, not counted, but in the sense of logic or applying a real world perspective to the problem (such as deriving costs of buying two chilies, burritos, etc.) then 2x would be more correct.

Since there is no clear answer for how the equation is to be read, then both 26.414 and 26 can be correct, depending on how you choose to interpret the two chilies.
>>
>>28164273

>>
26 obviously

> 1 chilli = 1
>>
This is why we need to build a wall
>>
taco = 20
burrito = 5
chili = 1
The answer is 26
>>
>>28164273
It's either 26 or 27 depending on the value of chillies which remains undefined, it can't be known if the image of one pepper is worth the same as two.
>>
3x=60 -> x=60/3 -> x=20 | Taco = 20
2y+x=30 -> 2y=30-10 -> 2y=10 > y=5 | Burrito = 5
y-2z=3 -> 5-2z=3 -> z=(5-3)/2 -> z=1 | Chili = 1
z+x+y=26

Assuming that it's supposed to be two chilis on the third row, and not that "any image of chili represents the number 2". If so, the answer would be 27.
>>
>>28168697
Unless "two chilis" = z*z, then zz=2 and hence z= square root of 2, i.e 1,414213562373095
Hence the answer would be 26,4142135623731.

Hence it all depends on how the image of chilis is interpreted: as 2z, zz or just z.
>>
>>28167762
The question would be "how would one represent 2x in images?", i.e. not chili*chili but just two pieces of chili? I can imagine no way to do so, if picturing two of them side by side means they are multiplied. Since it's real world objects, counting them in kind makes the most sense.

Okay obviously taco = 20. That's a given.

Obviously that must mean the burritos = 5

That then means the two peppers = 1 each, if we assume the two peppers and the one pepper are different things.

So the answer is obviously 26 and really, you're just baiting and I don't know why I wrote this out,
