My dad told me this and it makes alot of sense. You wont be old and boring when raising the kids, they will like you more if you can have fun with them. And when they are old enough to be able to take care of themselfs, you wont be too old to have fun by yourself, and you will probably have some money saved so you can travel and do what you want.
