It's a pretty cozy gig. I get paid by the hour instead of by delivery which is awesome because there's time when I have to wait up to 2 hours for product to be ready and I get stuck in bullshit traffic jams a lot too. The downsides is that the time I get off work is difficult to predict which makes it tricky to plan things around. There's also all the idiots on the roads constantly keeping me on edge and all of our trucks have some sort of bullshit problem.
I also have 100% benefits, yearly boot allowance and I get 100$ loyalty checks every 3 months.

Graduated class 5 license. The trucks don't have air brakes so you don't need any further certification but it would help. They also need 2+ years of prior delivery work in the city and a clean driving abstract. I had worked for the company a year before I got this gig so that helped as well.
Depends on what your felony offense is for. If it's related to driving then you're not going to be getting anything behind the wheel. One of our forklift operators spent a few years in jail tho, but he's got 20 years experience on a forklift.
