I'm 6'4" and i've never received any benefit purely from my height. Also there are a lot of inconveniences due to height - usually beds are too short, it's hard to find clothes and less space for sitting in public transport. Everyone is used to tall skelly stereotype and because i'm fat i get a lot of bad eyeing from other people. There's no benefit from being tall as you've imagined.
