Silent Hill is my hobby. I archive and catalog information about Silent Hill 2, and plan to work on SH3 once I'm finished.
I pride myself on being more extensive than the wiki. I even found this photo in the texture files of the game that isn't used. I added it to the wiki however, as an entire missing photo and text prompt is unprecedented.

I'm thinking about joining a rock climbing gym in a few weeks when I graduate from university. I originally thought it would be a good place to meet people, but as I type it out I realize how stupid and unrealistic it is. Comics and animation are two of my main interests, obviously. (This of course includes manga and anime).
I love languages. I'm going to school to teach English (as a language, not writing/literature).
Love movies. Especially stuff with cool visuals.
I've been getting back into music. I want to learn to make some of my own for fun, but I don't have a lot of time as it is. I wish I had some friends to go to shows and concerts with. I might drive to my sister's city a couple times this summer to go to concerts and crash on her couch.

Do it. I got back into drawing a few years ago and it has really helped turn my depression around. Seeing your work and practice payoff as you start to improve is invigorating. I cannot recommend it more.
Make sure you study the fundamentals. If you go about learning to draw with the special snowflake attitude that art is subjective and you don't need the fundamentals you will be stuck in DeviantArt tier forever. I recommend Robert Beverly Hale's lectures if you can find the tapes. Loomis, memes aside, is a great source. There are also tons of tutorials and lessons on YouTube.
Practice is the biggest thing. Draw every day.

My hobby is pretty much my job. I restore old lamps related to the city that i live in (posted this before in another thread). With that and renting out 2 rooms in my apartment i can pretty much live of it (i hope to expand it later and get more money). Its pretty nice bc i work an average of 1-3 hours a day. Today i worked for 1.5 hours, the only thing i did was deliver 3 lamps.

I use different trips for different boards. I'm pretty well known on /out/ for putting together dual sport rides. The last one in Pa had a turnout of 8 others. We road some trails I know of for the whole weekend and had a blast. The next one is in Cali (I didn't put this one together) and we are expecting about 15 people to ride the mountains on dual sports this summer.

Main hobbies right now are playing my mandolin and skateboarding. Also spend a fair bit of time reading/writing, and doing various flow arts. I'm planning on getting back in to lifting this week. When I'm too tired to do one of my active hobbies I like to almost elusively watch horror movies with a side of drama here and there. Skateboarding is my favorite of all those hobbies but I have an injury right now that keeps me from going hard so I spend most of my time on my board just cruising around town and finding cool shit. Mandolin is really fun, but I get the feeling I might like banjo more. Maybe I'm just making excuses since I know I'll never be as good at mandolin as I was on guitar.
Golf and writing. School takes so much time though :(
