I've often posted my chart in those threads, though never had anyone interested, either a female or a male so i never bothered and thus all i have is 4chan. I had one instance of befriending a female, which i ended up becoming her emotional tampon without me realizing. I helped her through some stuff, boyfriend troubles and when everything was fixed she basically deleted me and never said a word.
I learned a valuable lesson, and that for one is don't add women, befriend the, or talk to them if they have a boyfriend.

Firstly, being friends with someone doesn't automatically mean that they're a dumping ground for your personal issues. You have to be a lot closer than just friends for that to be true. Someone you've known for years? Yes. But just a friend who you hang out with occasionally and have known for a few months, no. Personal issues are called personal issues for a reason. They're meant to be handled by you alone, and if they're too much to bear then perhaps between you and a few very close people like family or tight friends.
It's why there's a distinction between 'friend' and 'best friend'.
Secondly, sharing your interests with your friends is cool, but if they don't share your interests then stop bothering them with it. It's only going to bore and annoy them, and if they're actually your friend then you shouldn't want to do that to them. If you like anime and your friend doesn't then messaging him about it every day on Facebook (this has happened to me, but it was with WoW) is only going to be frustrating for him.
Friendship is not a bond between two people that lead to a pattern of behaviour, it is a pattern of behaviour that leads to a bond. Dumping personal issues on weak acquaintances and spamming them with shit they don't care about is not the kind of behaviour that creates a bond.
