But actually, a meme education could work. Put it in a wider perspective. Draw comparisons to real memes like language, religion, urban myths, traditional music and other, similar stuff.
Show how memes both are, and are not, actual memes.
Look at society, how it shapes the memes.
You could also compare to old memes of the past.
But they probably have no idea what they are talking about, and I guess even I have far more knowledge on memes than the professor, and they are going to spread misinformation and it will be a completely worthless course, despite the potential that actually exists in the idea.
