I'm looking for new depressing music.
No smiths, radiohead, etc. Preferably an album I can just put on as I drive around. Anybody got any suggestions?
>>
Bump :| I need some new music too.

Lonerism by Tame Impala, skip the first track though

I really don't understand it, why would you listen to depressing music while depressed? I know I'd lose it if I tried that shit. I'm already on edge.

It soothes me. I can't listen to happy/upbeat music while depressed, I cant get into it and it becomes background noise I dont pay attention to.
>>
I'm sure it'll remind you of someone/something when you listen to it

I listen to upbeat music to distract the depression. It works.

I recently listen to fm at night and it really clears my mind in the morning for work.

Down on the Upside.
Time you got into grunge.

something about giving into the feels and just falling into darkness helps me through it.
It's almost like having a good cry I guess. Though I don't really cry.
Somehow I seem to feel better after I experience it rather than lying to myself and playing happy music.

Here you go, if you want the raw emotion of music you have to go to the best, the classical masters.

this is the worst thing ever.

one of my favourite albums of all time. hands down. and the worst part is that it doesn't even sound that depressing. i listened to this thing 10 times before i actually listened to the lyrics, and thought it was just a really good almost-pop record that i could play anywhere.

Claire De Lune is my favorite, it always helps me cry. Probably because of that scene from Wandering Son
