I recommend a vegan diet. someone who is more than 300 pounds can lose 100+ pounds in a year by switching to a plant-based diet. specifically, eat all the vegetables and fruit you want, no meat eggs or dairy. hopefully exercise a few times a week.
I watched a documentary today about a 29 year old lady who was 345 pounds. she ended up losing 200 pounds in a year through diet and exercise. the film was like 80 minutes long it's call "unsupersize me".
that's extremely dramatic obviously just losing 20 pounds is a major accomplishment
