I do. With nails too. I've been trying to stop for like two months now but it's pretty hard when I'm nervous. It's also hard because it takes a while to regenerate and I do it without even thinking.

it took me a year to stretch my knuckle playe so i could bend my index finger at all, nevermind all the way
it's been four years and it was about a year ago i was able to move it fully again

picked the skin on my foot every day for two years. Half of it's scab now. When i can't get any purchase with my nails I cut it with scissors or the blades from shaving razors. I keep trying to stop but I can't. It hurts every morning in the shower and i walk with a limp and i can't ever let alone see my feet
