Actually you can apply to join the CIA like a regular job. It doesn't seem much more demanding than any high-level job your average person is likely to be able to get the qualifications for, granted they're extremely interested in people that speak a certain some specific languages.

One of the USA's global agendas: US resources and arms in exchange for leverage and agency in your country, is basically the means and pretense our CIA operates around the world on, looking for any holes or corruption in foreign government that could allow for it to be subversively under influence or control of the U.S. Federal Empire.
The reason CIA is so secret is because they consume incredible amounts of overall tax money to fund dangerous overthrows or bizarre projects which really serve us taxpayers no purpose whatsoever, if it became public what exactly the secret budget funds, there's no way they could justify it.
