Any UC alumni here? Current students? Other CAfags who applied this year?
I got accepted to UCLA, UCD, and UCSB. Dunno about Berkeley yet. Which should I go to? I got accepted for geography, and primary interest of mine is GIS.
I went to UCI and am happy. UCI is a good school. Everyone makes fun of Irvine but it's a city where you can walk outside at night and not get shot. My dream is to buy a house in Irvine.

I could only apply up to four for free, otherwise I'd have applied there too. But I also tried to just stick to schools with decent geography departments, and who also offer GIS minors/certs/emphasis.
Either way, so long as it's not "Merced" next to UC, the whole system is good.

I'm a student at UC Berkeley right now, its nice here I like it. I would definitely choose berkeley again
