I'm 6'2. I recently bought a pair of dress boots one size too big and instead of returning tried out those shoe lifts. After 1.5" inserts I'm 6'4 now. I feel like a God walking around. Everyone should try it. 2" increase is a lesser fraction of my height so I can only imagine what it would like for a 5'10 midget. Lanklet status sucked but with the right drugs and training I finally hit 190lbs and life is perfect except for autism turning girls off. Can't win them all I guess. I highly suggest shoe lifts though. It's like $5 from China and they make multiple sizes.

When I was about 11 or 12 I used to worry about my height and being small because I was probably 4'11" and really skinny. I drank as much milk and ate a lot of bananas hoping to grow big and would imagine growing tall when I was in bed. I am now a 6'3.75", just missed the cutoff for king of manlets by a quarter inch
