I recently started a Barbarian run with low tier weapons and armor and specific behavior in mind and it's like playing a whole different game, almost like watching a movie. I always just used some self insert tank character but this feels like I'm actually creating my own story instead of just dicking around and eventually doing the laundry list of chore/quests.
