Only boys that save their pennies make my rainy day :^)

at the very least though, at least Madonna was honest about being a filthy whore.

I thought she was being ironic
Aging madonna > young madonna
She seems a bit more self-aware, maybe

I only really like her earlier work.
I grew up listening to my mom's old 45 of True Blue.

I love how dark (for pop music) her shit has gotten over time, though
Like before she was just your average shallow pop star but then as time goes on you see a little bit of crazy shine through as she gets less popular
Love it
cant wait to hang myself..
I actually really like Madonna. It's kind of funny how all her detractors were completely right, her outright sluttiness did lead to the horrible pop music environment we have today. I'm just disconnected enough from it by time that I don't really care though. It's a lot tamer than today's shit, too.

Her pop was highly typical, but for its genre it reached excellence in things like memetic impact (i.e. you remember the song, you can sing along to it after listening once etc. this makes for more social connections attributed to the song), strong conveyed mood, pleasing voice and instrumentality.

One of the things I like most in music is when it's the logical conclusion of whatever genre it is.

Also aging britney (to a point, fuck that faux-dance shit she tried to pull) > old britney

I dunno man, I like watching that shit unravel and reach some different realization than the one that was predesignated at the outset
I'm willing to bet pop stars like Madonna have stranger lives than we give them credit for

As an adolescent I thought it was really cool to hate on Britney.
I ended up being really surprised by "Toxic" and felt very conflicted about actually loving the song.

Oh man when I was a kid I made a shitty AMV to that song with my best friend
I simultaneously cringe at and relish the memory
> iwn have a madonna mommy gf

Music producers for young women or teens can sometimes be sons of bitches, a lot of the addicts started using mostly because of pressures from their managers/parents/producers.
I don't really envy the famous.
