Were foreign language classes the worst classes to take as a robot?
>teacher asks you a question in the language
>only recognise a few words
>no fucking clue what they're asking
>say something you do know in the language
>it has nothing to do with the question
>you pronounced it wrong too
Why can't there be places to learn how to speak a language without people laughing when you can't pronounce something? I want to learn one.

They were actually my favorite. I'm glad I've learned English.

Imagine if the teacher is worse than you in that language and doesnt understand you because he doesnt know the words.
Then he gives you a bad grade for it.

>not knowing about duolingo
it'll save your life my man
>>28042261
But I want to practice speaking it too since that's such an important part of learning a language. It's fun though and I used it a couple of months ago

>it'll save your life my man
no
khgkgh
I took Japanese in uni for extra credit and it was exhilarating
>older women force me to bow and be polite
>laugh at me
>expect me to speak like a sissy anime girl in public
>broken boys punished with academic suspension
>>28042089
>find a partner and practice (the language) together
>>28042746
Yeah, dude this was the worst part.
Or
>OK, class, let's take turns telling us one of your hobbies
fuck you native english fucks you have life on easy mode
That is probably the most normie feel ever.

english is literally the easiest language to learn. there might be silly little nuances to master it, but conversational english is ez mode.

"studying" a language is worthless, unless you are like 1/10,000 people that can learn the language just by studying the only advice i can give you is move to a country that natively speaks that language.
i lived in 6 different countries, moved around a lot, now i speak 4 languages. Ukrainian (6/10) Russian (5/10), Spanish (10/10) and English (8/10)
when i was in Spain, I studied English for 10 years, all that time i learned nothing, when i came here to the us, and took a ESL test, i scored beginner. but i have to say, after two years, my English is pretty neat right now.

I had this happen last semester
>Get stuck with a Chad who doesn't give a shit about his grade
>Nervously attempted to get him to work with me
>He flirts with the girls in the group behind us
>Teacher always called on us to give our dialog first
It was Hell, pure Hell. I'm talking the next course online, I'm praying it's less stressful. I wish my degree didn't require 4 years of a foreign language..

Why did you lived in 6 different countries?
Why did you lived in Ukraine?
Where are you originally from?
And what do you do for a living?
English was pretty good, but french class was horrible.
>but our complete class was shit so it was not so bad
