This is true. Whilst not mandatory, the new Zelda game will have gender options.
you have to remember that the majority of the people that play those Zelda games are either Japanese or endlessly watch anime, both of which have very feminine looking features and aren't really masculine to begin with.
They're just pandering to their customers so when they play the game, they can identify with Link

Go play bethesda games if you games customizable characters. They already have what you want, other series that are well established don't need to change to appeal to a completely different game style.Same goes for those fucks who want Pokemon to be an MMO
