It depends on what you mean by bullshit and legit. It's mostly snake oil as far as any miraculous physical/mental improvements go (regardless of what others tell you.) But it's fine as a discipline exercise. I wouldn't really recommend it though, unless you really find it to be a problem; as there are certainly other more harmful vices in your life. Tackle those instead.
