I used to exclusively eat Skippy and Jif creamy when I was 5-14. Then my mom bought this stuff, Adam's natural stir it yourself peanut butter. At first I wasn't a fan of the stuff because I thought the oil separation was gross. I got really hungry one day and tried some on whole wheat bread.
I thought it was ok, then I had it again. I started to like the stuff, I mean like it a lot. I learned the art of the stir by turning the peanut butter with a wooden ladle handle; scraped the bottom for sure. The entire process of stirring the peanut butter makes it taste better, you bond with your food. You can compare it to catching, cleaning, and cooking your own fish or game. Knowing that it's natural you don't feel guilty after eating it. Unlike the other peanut butters, this one has no preservatives or hydrogenated oils.
I was a very picky eater, believe me. Maybe It's because I'm getting older, mid 20s now. But I can't eat any other butter. I have started splitting a banana right down the middle and putting the halves in my sandwich. It's great and very filling. After eating one of these sandwiches I can last most of the day without having to eat because it's packed with protein,natural peanut fats and potassium.
