I would go to my father's office sometimes when I was a kid. Very nostalgic to me.
I'm a tree hugging rural faggot so I absolutely despise cities, but night time urbanscapes are the comfiest.
Night time GSC makes me comfy as hell. Also Japan is so nostalgic for some reason. I grew up in LA. Really old school anime and vaporwave too.
Just playing Skyrim, for some reason, always gets me comfy.
Thread not taking off?
city night life is comfy to me, alas I live in a small town
>live in a small Japanese city
>tfw night walk
No worries of being mugged or killed. Street lights are bright enough to read a book. Sometimes an old person walks by and smiles.
Fuckin hell lads I finally don't hate my life.

kinda depressing for me, reminds me how I'm no longer young and in university, most of my time there and time since squandered
not quite this scene but there's is one in aotc where you just see a dark, dim city, i think of this super futuristic, grimy, super large city where there are tons of weird places that you could go and just be completely alone, and it's all shitty, but there are so many nooks and crannies and shit. know what i mean?
>>28035252
i didnt know citywalk could be so aesthetic
I'm still here opI too appreciate comfy
>>28036379

My nigga
GSC was incredibly comfy over all. I think it has something to do with the slightly washed out color palette, but I always loved the aesthetic of those games.

Anyone else here lust for a life of crime
>live in slightly urban yet close to rural southern city with no notable landmarks. Just endless streets of apartments and small/chain businesses north of a larger urban city center
>I will never run a small but booming drug dealing operation from some section 8 housing
>I will never sit at a table in my trap house with a loaded pistol right in front of me
>I will never sleep all day and rule the neon night. Taking trips to Tampa or Miami to pick up shipments of Cocaine
mid-90s Japan is literally the comfiest civilization that era existed.
I'm not joking or trying to be outlandish. The mid to late 90s were the peak of human civilization so far, and Japan was the safest and cleanest country in the world during that time. It was also still artistically and culturally rich.
One of my goals in life is to live in an apartment complex with an indoor pool which is open at night.
>>28037756
I've lived this and don't let anyone ever tell you it doesn't live up to the hype.
It's the best place in the world to be. The only downside at all is once you leave it everything else in your life after will seem pale in comparison, and people who have never experienced it will not understand what's wrong with you.
>>28038356
I've been around drug pushers, it's not a very comfy lifestyle, you're a rule breaking badboy, society failed you so why should you care etc.
But they're always looking over their shoulders and never seem relaxed for too long. It's a stupid game they play, with little reward for the danger they're put in. You should be a drug mule, Drive product from point A to point B and get paid, possibly up to 60k.
Now a drug lord would be a sweet fucking gig, you're basically a slave owner who has no worries.
Cicadas are too good for this world.

Frontline, Australian satirical comedy of current affairs journalism from the early to mid nineties.
Shows brilliant and the aesthetic and old tech is very nostalgic.

It has an extremely dreamlike aesthetic going on.
What with the things being there that shouldn't be there, since thelibrary is completely empty, the limited distance you can see because it's dark and the unusual lighting.

>mid-90s
nah.
>The mid to late 90s were the peak of human civilization so far, and Japan was the safest and cleanest country in the world during that time
You're thinking of the bubble era, which were 5ish years from 1986.
During the mid-90s Japan was a complete shithole, kinda like now, but even worse. They don't call the 90s the lost decade for nothing.
>>28041082
I took the bubble into account but also took 80s attitudes and science as well and corrected towards the 90s. Even with the 90s economic depression it was still a better place to live overall.
>>28040427
I watched the complete first episode and it was 10/10.

I like the comment about the survivors having to relearn everything starting from the beginning of human history. it really makes you think how naive and ignorant we are ass a society today.

Pic related.
Also, a theme that I can't think of any examples right now, but it's when a bunch of kids who live in USA suburbs stay out late at night near railway tracks or whatever and then they find something weird like an alien machine or ancient artifact.
