Anyone here enjoying gambling? Any Great wins? Terrible losses?

Whats your views on gambling?
>>
Won $1400 dollars playing $5 min craps once. Held the dice for 7 minutes and got in about 13 rolls. Was tons of fun.

I love to gamble and love Casinos
>>
It's too dumb for me. How can anyone have fun knowing it's rigged.
>>
I gamble on the stock market if that counts.
>>
True story
>run into some money
>take 5000 an go to a casino
>put 5000 on red in roulette
>FUCKING WIN
>put another 5 g's on red
>lose...
>friend drags me away before i can do it again
Broke even so cant complain
>>
I use to get really fucking lucky when I was younger, but I got this nagging self doubt maybe it wasn't luck they were just letting me win.
I was on a hot streak in a casino last time I went like borrowed money to go in and came out with some winnings. I'm like scared shitless of going back and just dumping my pockets. Because then I'm gonna feel like fuck it why not do it again? Before you know it all that frugal bullshit I use to do all gone. Why save cash? Never going to save up enough to buy into some awesome stock or something that will pay out and get to a point where you're shits covered and you can just invest or whatever unless your frugal for years and years and don't fuck your shit up. Gambling it win or lose just seems like the best investment you can make with it, what else you gonna do after you pay your bills. Save up to pay off more bills later, spent the change on beer?
Fucking gambling is just like this taboo thing I like to do but I really resist doing it.

I live in vegas and gamble somtimes. The most I ever won was $20 because I don't want to become addicted to it.
>>
>Put one dollar into slot machine
>Win 25

Slots are pretty good if you limit how much you put into them. Stop at 40 dollars (for penny slots)

Craps is fun as hell, everyone is nice and willing to talk and if you're only looking to win, the line bet before the first roll is the best bet in the casino, virtually 50/50
>>
Never gambled but do people really walk into casinos and drop shit like "$10k on red" then collect/lose and just walk?
>>

>Craps is fun as hell
Am I the only mother fucker that finds craps confusing?
Like I played it electronically and my win rate was just like abyssal. I think I'm starting to understand it a bit better now but I always liked blackjack like it's straight forward, you don't need to cheat just make some educated guesses and still have a fairly good chance at winning.
>>
I've only gambled online. Played with play money, kept winning and winning, then would use bitcoins, and would start losing.
Or I'd win a little bit, feel angry that I was too scared to bet more and my winnings were paltry, bet big, and lose.

It is confusing as hell. You really have to read up on it to fully understand all the bets and how it works, and then you have to learn all of the etiquette involved in playing at the casino with real dealers.

If you can pick up on it, you'll have an absolute blast.

When I first started, I literally had a dealer cuss me out because I wasn't placing my money within his reach.

I wondered that too because I have wanted to throw down a big bet on roulette before. Might depend on the place though some might have a minimum and maximum bet limit. But 50/50 doesn't seem like a 50/50 chance to me I wouldn't want to roll big unless I watched the thing had been in play for a while.

Damn dude you must of really fucked up because I've known a few casino dealers and they're some of the most patient and nicest people I ever met.
I know professional people are a bit different on and off the clock just the nature of the beast but actually getting cussed out either that place might of been kinda shady or that guy didn't think you were gonna tip.
>>
>>28034545
He warned me once like 5 minutes before that.

And yea I never tip
>>
>>28034746
>And yea I never tip
Why not? It's fun to tip. You ever seen how happy people get from it? I find it more fun just to see people lose their shit over a tip than whatever else I'm doing sometimes.
Like I just dumped my wallet out sometimes when I tip like well shit guess that's all I got.
