Stuka was ugly imo. Then again, there wasn't really a single dive bomber which was aesthetically pleasing.

Stick with the Spitfire, preferably one of the earlier models.

Something about the fixed landing gear, gull wings and diving whistle makes it probably more of a favourite than the Spitfire in all honesty. But have to hand that spot to a Merlin or Griffon Engine.

>If you know you look good, take advantage, or stop lying.
That's the thing about having no confidence or self-esteem; regardless of how many girls flirt with me in class or around school, I'm always going to be hung up about the girl whom I liked that deemed me unsuitable.

Just to be clear, girls don't flirt with me a lot; it just happens enough to where I think I can give myself an "average" in the looks department.

Dude my autism flows when I talk about this shit; the sail-shaped wings and the slim airframe and the pointed nose just look so good, not to mention the engine sounds fucking fantastic. It's like they made an aircraft to be beautiful and it just happened to fly well, too.

because a society of free association cannot exist under capitalism. If workers do not control the industries, then an employer does, and if an employer controls the industries then they accumulate capital from the labor of their workers, allowing them to gain wealth at an increasingly exponential rate for nothing more than reinvesting their capital into assets that acrue more capital and power.
An egoist anarchist like myself desires an economic system driven by demand not by profit-motive, for fiat capital does nothing more than arrange power and create a hierarchy.
>>

>a society of free association cannot exist under capitalism
It can exist only under capitalism, you mean.
> they accumulate capital from the labor of their workers, allowing them to gain wealth at an increasingly exponential rate for nothing more than reinvesting their capital into assets that acrue more capital and power.
I don't see the problem with that.
>An egoist anarchist
If you're a stirnerian egoist, like me, then why do you subscribe to an ideology like marxism? I don't understand.
>>
>>28046397
>read Stirner
>doesn't want a union of egoists
I don't subscribe to marxism per se, I just think that workers should control industry. I think that since I am like most people and do not have the ability to become a bourgeois parasite it would be in my best interest to bring about a society in which individuals are the highest unit of society.
Such a society can come about through anarcho-syndicalism. Workers decide when to start businesses, how they businesses are organized, how capital will be distributed, and all these dynamics will be balanced by demand satisfaction. Demand satisfaction, especially completely mutual demand satisfaction, is perhaps the ultimate realization of the ego.
>>
>>28046494
How does a union of egoists fall under the realm of anarcho-communism? Please explain.

>workers should control industry
Why? I read the communist manifesto, and Marx's ideas struck me as irrational, biased proponents of an illegitimate revolution.

> since I am like most people and do not have the ability to
If you do not have the ability to claim property, why do you think you deserve anything? This goes against stirnerian philosophy.

>bourgeois parasite
Oxymoron.
Please tell me what you consider a bourgeois to be, and how thriving in a given environment makes one a parasite.

>it would be in my best interest
I think I understand. I'm not calling you out on anything, but since you don't believe you have the ability to survive in a society based on merit, you think egalitarianism is the best course of action for your own benefit?

>Workers decide
Why?
>how capital will be distributed
Why would anyone save for the free market decide how capital shall be distributed? You're impeding on the individual liberties of people here.
>>
>>28046572
The communist manifesto is a manifesto, it would make no sense if you do not know any of the theory, so of course you think it's shit. Read marx's capital volume 1 if you want to get what marx is talking about:
https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/download/pdf/Capital-Volume-I.pdf

I can summarize why worker's should control industry for you though:
A business owner (bourgeoisie) (or in modern days, the business itself since we have corporations now) charges workers a wage or pays them per action performed in a way that allows them to profit off of their labor. If workers controlled the business themselves then their surplus value would not be extracted in this way, and they could keep that value for their own gain. To an egoist that realistically can only ever be a worker, it is therefore in their interest to work in a worker owned industry, not a capitalist-owned one, since they would gain the full reward for their labor.

>you think egalitarianism is the best course of action for your own benefit?
Egalitarianism is not the name of the game, the name of the game is getting what I deserve out of my labor, something that doesn't happen in a system of wageslavery.

>Workers decide
>how capital will be distributed
What is meant by this is that for any business to work some of the value created from a worker's labor will have to go to the collective pool for the group they work with so that they can then decide to get more equipment, improve working conditions, or just distribute the entirety of the surplus labor to themselves.
The reason workers should decide is because they do the work, it's fucked up that a business owner or cabal of shareholders should decide how other people work.
It's in the egoist's best interest to decide how they should do things.
>>
>>28046725
also here is a glossary of marxist terms so you know what bourgeoisie and proletariat mean:
https://www.marxists.org/glossary/terms/s/o.htm

You are not a bourgeoisie, friend. A bourgeoisie in simplest terms is the class that makes money off of the labor of others.
>>
>>28046725
I've been putting off reading the capital for some time because of how underwhelmed I was after reading the manifesto, but I'll do it.

>in a way that allows them to profit off of their labor
It's a voluntary association. I don't see how it's wrong for someone to profit off the work of someone else if the two parties agree to cooperate (which they do, unlike what communists claim).
I understand what you mean, but
>To an egoist that realistically can only ever be a worker
Why do you say that?
There seems to be a false dichotomy between the bourgeois and the worker. The are several classes of people between the proletariat and what you like to call the elite, and those classes also benefit from the work of others.

>getting what I deserve out of my labor
But you don't deserve anything, at least not according to the egoist ideology. What you cannot claim as yours, you do not deserve to have.

>The reason workers should decide is because they do the work
What, the physical work? All current forms of association in a corporate context are voluntary. It seems normal to me that some people earn more money than others, especially when you compare the worker, who has little to no responsibilities, to the business owner, who bears the whole structure of the company on his shoulders. This is especially true in the case of small businesses (which are, arguably, the most relevant, since a truly free market would eliminate oppressive monopolistic entities).

>It's in the egoist's best interest to decide how they should do things
I agree. The worker can always walk away, if he is not satisfied with his voluntary association with the business owner.
As an egoist, I believe that capitalism is in my best interest.

>>28046765
Thanks for the link.

>You are not a bourgeois
>class that makes money off of the labor of others
It seems that I belong in a family of bourgeois, since most of my family members own small/medium-sized businesses, employ people, and earn quite a lot.
>>
>>28046892
I think the key ideological difference between you and me is our views on voluntary association. While there certainly could be some voluntary association in ancap land, I do not think there will be an acceptable amount of voluntary association.
It's not acceptable that the choices for most people are: work hard for years and hope that maybe someday you'll have enough capital to start a business of your own, or live in absolute destitute. With profit-driven motive, there'll be few employers that have the worker's interests in mind, so it would be hard to just choose a different employer, they'd pretty much all be treating workers as poorly as possible, and they will have to do that if there is any hope for their business competing with another business.

In a syndicalist economy however everybody has the ability to start a business, all they have to do is get together with enough workers to petition a worker's federation for the investment capital necessary to start it. They also have a great deal of choice in making agreements about their working conditions, since democracy is the whole point of federations, and it they absolutely hate working in a place they can find someplace else to work because having something besides just a profit-motive makes it possible for businesses to have lots of different qualities of working conditions.

If free association is your primary interest, then capitalism shouldn't be your interest, unless of course you are a member of the bourgeoisie.
>>
>>28047157
Why don't you think that an ancap land couldn't entirely depend on voluntaryism? The free market (not "free" like it currently is in America; I mean truly free) would eliminate all oppressive monopolies, and boost competition, thus allowing smaller businesses to thrive and making voluntary association much more prevalent.
>It's not acceptable that the choices for most people are: work hard for years and hope that maybe someday you'll have enough capital to start a business of your own, or live in absolute destitute.
I agree, but that situation is caused by statism, not by capitalism. It's the state that prevents individuals from creating small businesses and that allows huge businesses to act as predators to everyone else in order to maintain a monopoly. All of that is the state's fault, via subsidies and lobbying.
>there'll be few employers that have the worker's interests in mind
In the case of smaller businesses, the workers' interest is the employer's interest, and vice-versa. Both are interrelated.
In the case of bigger companies, it's not quite the same thing, but as I said above, competitiveness would prevent employers from being as tyrannical as they are today. They would be forced to adapt in order to maximize their profits.
Employers aren't always pieces of shit that treat their workers like animals, unlike what you seem to think. Even if it's hyperbole, there are lots of businesses where employers and employees are in good terms and work towards a common goal.

In syndicalism, I see a worker's federation as an illegitimate limiter to free trade. I shouldn't need the permission of anyone to create a business.
>democracy
Democracy is not a good thing, especially direct democracy, unless your community is entirely comprised of intelligent, rational individuals.

>unless of course you are a member of the bourgeoisie
I think workers and the "bourgeois" can work together efficiently.

Small businesses are awesome, I think we can both agree on that. If all businesses were small businesses then the employer would indeed really just be a manager, and it might be fair that management gets paid more.

So here's the issue:
The state is not what causes monopolistic competition, a profit-driven motive is what causes monopolistic competition. In a truly free market economy supply and demand would determine the price of goods, but businesses want to be able to fix their prices so that they can make more money. This causes the following without a state: businesses will claim that their brand is different from the other brands and will hire security to ensure that their secrets are kept secret since copyrights won't be around without a state. By having a specialized product, they have some control over the market, they have a monopoly over one specific sector of a type of product (their brand of it), and thus can fix their prices a little bit. To see this in action, compare a grocery store to a farmer's market. The farmer's market is based on the optimal price so all the goods are roughly the same and all are near the same price. Compare this to a grocery store where there are many brands of the same thing and they all have different prices.
Anyways, brands will always work together to create an oligopoly so that they can fix the prices even more, and when one company in the oligopoly gets enough power it'll buy out the rest and then boom monopoly, and there is nothing something the monopoly from existing because with all the capital that it has it could always produce products cheaper than everybody else.
Markets will never be free if there is a profit-motive, capital will always centralize.

>it might be fair that management gets paid more.
I guess that our diverging opinions on business owner wages come from our different experiences. I've seen a lot of people in my family struggle for decades before managing to set up a successful, small business. Therefore, I think it's completely legitimate when one of my acquaintances manages to bring home two million dollars a year while working twelve hours per week, because I've seen the man bust his ass while most of his counterparts fucked around. See what I mean?

>The state is not what causes monopolistic competition
The state is what maintains illegitimate monopolies and prevents them from dying out. Subsidies, lobbies, bailouts, you name it. I'm not against monopolies if they're allowed to exist by the free market, because they would be, by definition, the best the industry has to offer both in terms of the product they're selling and their work environment (otherwise they'd get crushed by competitors hiring their own workers).
>a profit-driven motive
There's no economy without that, and I don't see what's wrong with wanting to accumulate wealth.

What you're saying about the centralization of capital is interesting, but I disagree. A business can fix its prices, but the law of the market will eventually determine whether or not these prices can stand up to the competition. This depends on the consumer's choice, but also on the worker who manufactures the company's goods. A company that tries to fix its prices while lowering its wages will be faced with serious problems in the long run, when its workers can't take it anymore and when the consumers aren't able to afford its goods (even in the case of necessity goods, this would still happen in the form of riots and boycotting).
The market regulates itself, always. An illegitimate monopoly will get crushed by a cheaper, more effective, less tyrannical competitor.
The reason why we don't have that right now is because of statist regulations.

Well, what I wanted you to see from the videos I linked is that the advantages of corporations and monopolies/oligopolies are tremendous for the people profiting for them but pretty shit for everyone else. These are completely neutral videos based on economics 101 textbooks, and they show advantages and disadvantages.
If the motivating factor is profit, there is no reason for people not to adopt these business models that fuck everyone over.

If you are an egoist, and you are part of the vast majority of people, this shit is definitely not in your interest. It would make much more sense to partake of an economy that is motivated by meeting demands. A syndicalist economy can create a demand driven society, groups of workers or people living together would make their demands known and adjust their supply to others who are making demands to ensure that the demands are met. The incentive to work would simply be getting what you desire, it's an egoist reason to work.

I'll watch the videos, but I've already taken econ 101 and I see no particular flaw in what I've said earlier: monopolies would either be unable to thrive in a free market, or they would have to adapt to the consumer. I don't understand what's wrong with this claim.

>there is no reason for people not to adopt these business models that fuck everyone over
Price elasticity has a limit and consumers won't simply abide, even in the case of necessity goods.

>this shit is definitely not in your interest
I believe that I can be successful by starting up my own small business.
I dislike syndicalism because it limits an individual's access to free trade and free enterprise.
>The incentive to work would simply be getting what you desire
It's the same thing in ancap.
>>
>>28048193
Distributing goods in mass where people want them in exchange for supplying goods to anyone that wants them is free trade.
putting price barriers on things as much as it can be gotten away with is not free trade.
needing ludicrous amounts of capital to start an industry is not free enterprise, just having some fellow workers that want to get started with you and being given the capital to start is free enterprise.

>implying anyone can do anything about a monopoly
What are you going to do when they can afford all the security they need? What are you going to do when there is no possible way to compete with their business because they protect all the best ways to produce what they are producing?
I get what you are saying, they can't charge so much that nobody will buy their good, but they will charge so much that everyone is forced into destitute or slavery to them if they need their product.
