Also it would undermine Unionism in Northern Ireland which is more relevant to me as a voter.

Scottish guy here. We don't need independence and are generally better without and the SNP are cucks and I would rather have Tories over them.
Because the novelty of it would fade once the scots realize how little they actually matter on the global stage.
