I started feeding a stray cat last year and she stuck around. She's super affectionate, and is always waiting for me outside in the morning.
I tried taking her in, but she doesn't like staying in-doors. Even made a cat shelter for her, so she has someplace warm to stay during winter.
I keep isopods as pets. So far I have a colony of Armadillidium vulgare and Porcellio scaber.

I have a bunny. He's my sweet little boy. My favorite part of the week is when I go grocery shopping because I can pick out new and exotic fruits/vegetables for him to munch on.

What did you name this feline friend?
She's not a pet but I live with a bear. She got hit by a car they think when she was younger and the vets patched her up but the nearest preserve couldn't take her. I volunteered and with ranger approval got her. They were supposed to release her once she was better, but she came back to me so they let it slide. They're actually always on my case about how it's dangerous and she's gonna kill me, but she keeps me company so it's worth it to me.

I always help strays when I can, I remember once as a kid I was waiting for my school bus in the dark and I heard some meowing in the distance. I started meowing back and this little white and black kitten came running towards me out of the dark. I dumped it on my mom (who was less than thrilled) and went to school.

That said, I am also impressed with this gentleman for taking care of the cat. It's a kind thing to do, after all! I think if you can somehow get her to go with you to a vet to at least get some basic immunizations and fixing, you'd have a true-blue pet on your hands, even if she won't hang out indoors with you. Have fun shelling out for that :^)

yes i have geckos. six of them, three different species. they are one of the simplest pets to take care of. easier than fish in a lot of ways.

Her kitten eyes were barely open and there was 7inches of snow on the ground. I think if I did steal her, I did her a favor. I believe her mom and siblings may have been dropped off and passed away on the cold. I looked for more kittens or a mom for several hours in the snow

I've been feeding a stray cat for a year now. She comes around almost every day. Funny thing is after a year she still hisses at me and runs away and watches me from a far. Once I give hear cat food and leave then she goes to the bowl to eat. I think that cat has been abused. I also have a few fresh water fish.

Stray would sit on my deck sometimes for hours waiting on me to feed her. As soon as I come outside she runs away and watches me from a safe distance. Once I go inside she starts goes to the bowl to eat. I'm sure she understands I feed her but still doesn't trust me after a year.

Most popular pets have enough offspring in their litters that that is an awful idea. You could have a cat deliver one litter and give most of the kittens away, but it's hard to give kittens away and if you don't find a home for them they'll likely be euthanized by the SPCA.
