He got pissed off at the principal because the school was putting too much work on him and the other teachers that was entirely pointless and not covered by their contract. Principal told him to quit talking about it, he didn't, so he got fired.
Later that year, another teacher who new him really well successfully got the superintendent and lots of other officials fired because it turned out our teacher was right and what the school was doing was actually very corrupt and illegal (they had been threatening people with firing for disagreeing with policy for a long time, apparently).

Yeah, he made fun of us quite a bit. He and I were actually friends. The students made fun of him too because he was a manlet (though, he had a qt wife who was about his height, probably because he had Chad-tier personality).
He also had to teach the retard class, and when he was with his smallest group (which would be us, the AP group), he would tell really funny stories about it.
He didn't make fun of us and insult us because he hated us, but because he knew it was funny and made us all laugh. He was a great teacher mainly because he actually cared if we learned something, and you could tell he would be actually disappointed sometimes.
