I am currently considering travelling ~ 1650 km on foot to put myself into a position to be close enough that the person I love could conceivably drive to me and talk to me.
My family is against it, and calling me insane. But through this walking meditation, through this pilgrimage, I believe I will learn something about myself, even if she doesn't see it.
I love her and I will not sit within the 4 confining walls of this place anymore.

Yo OP. Friend of mine walked the santiago route starting in northern France. He walked like 30km a day. It's pretty doable, but do a little bit of homework. Calculate spending a day/where to sleep. Take an extra pair of shoes. That sort of stuff. Read up.
