I havent done anything in the past 2 weeks aside from playing Kancolle and shitty japanese mobile games.
What's worse is, i'm not "good" at any of them. I don't know why, when I get something kinda good in one game, I can't help but get rid of it to start over. When i do get "good" at games, even shitty mobile games, i start losing any interest I had in it. What I once thought was fun is boring. Ive probably had 4 different Granblue Fantasy accounts in the past 3 months.
I dont enjoy anything else. I have a huge collection of games, but I only enjoy japanese mobages, and Kancolle. I have well over $2000 worth of physical games and of course steam+psn collection. I have bought over 100 games on PSN but don't even have trophy level 5. I've put a few hundred dollars on steam, and my most played game there is for 12.4 hours, and that's because i fell asleep playing it

To be quite honest I'm miffed but not actually emotionally effected by the implications of "autism talk". I find this entire thing incredibly degrading of genuine expression of self, and the worst thing is so do the normies. Fucking everyone finds it weird, it's ingrained into our conscious that speaking plainly and clearly is some kind of crime by nearly every facet of our social interactions. Characters in tv shows and movies that act in this way are portrayed as inhuman, I cannot think of a better example at the moment than Spock. Spoilers ahead.
Spock is literally a hybrid between a human and an alien race, vulcan's being a race that value rigorous logic over emotion and what can be relate to "fundamental humanistic irrationality". His character development is defined by his personal struggle involving this. Even his death is a final culmination of his deep friendship towards a human, down to his final gesture that mirrors the classic imagery of a human and an ape, or some other animal, with paw and hand touching.
I think this reflects the greater problem with "autism talk" or the alienation of those on the autism spectrum as it is typically implied that acting in this way is an expression of ignorance or fundamental separation that does not allow one to "connect" with other humans on the same level because they are lacking the same social faculties. If one cannot connect with an autist in the ways an autist shares language and ideas and feelings, then THEY ARE THE DEFICIENT and perhaps THEY need to some form of therapy or work in order to improve that aspect of "literalness" or "plainness" or whatever you will call it they are unable to relate to or respond to.

I wondered for so long if I was wrong for my aspergers-fueled lack of empathy and general misanthropy, and that society was right, and I needed to change - or if I was right, and society was wrong.
Had I missed something? Was there some dimension of the human psyche that was lovable and worthy of admiration? Could there really be an aspect of humanity that was not utter shit, that I just needed to convince myself existed? should I start acting normal, feeling normal - rooting at sports games, hugging family members, crying at funerals, and every other bullshit show of emotion I never cared for?
My stance as of now is really neither. Neither is right or wrong. Society is a collection of organisms programmed to respond to each other with empathy and affection. Lacking those instincts I think of myself a sort of machine among organics. I quote HK47 and joke about 'meatbags,' with some truth inside. I promote Heinlein's 'Stranger in a Strange Land' and hope someone understands. I felt moved by the ending of Bladerunner (where an android, in his last moments, saves the life of the detective trying to kill him) but remain unconvinced.
Fitting in is out of the question; my hope is to at least find something interesting or (at least) entertaining here.

That sentence right there sums life up for me, anon. Everywhere I go, no matter what the circumstances, I'm the guy who's a bit 'off,' so I've learned to just run with it and ignore it. Yeah, most people end up thinking I'm slightly batshit by the time I'm done talking to them, but that's fine, because I've noticed recently that I've stopped caring about what the random other people in the room think of me. It's quite nice, actually, you can do and say whatever you like and nobody can judge you for it because they simply don't matter.

If that fundamental humanism people have is anything I think it's imperfection, which is where I find relating to robots falls short. Robots are machines who perform their function and live out their programming, though when they are characters it's often implied that their "AI" or whatever drives them is sophisticated enough to relate to humans or do things that people call human. They're almost innocent in a way when it comes to morality, and even though a robot may be decommissioned or destroyed the blame for their faulty acting is placed on the creator, which makes me wonder about how much I could be innocent or oblivious to those societal norms that you describe in the second paragraph. Maybe there was value I was missing out on and I needed to search for.
But ultimately I fall in line with a stance similar to yours, or at least how I see your stance, that neither is right or wrong and trying to become the other is futile. I'm still constantly full of doubt on whether myself or everyone else is "doing it wrong" yet the more I talk the more I only see more contrasts instead of more relatable things, which makes it easier to stop caring.

Why can't autists be accepted instead of being ostracized? We didn't choose to born this way and there's nothing we can do to change our behavior to complete neurotypicalness. Besides many of our actions actually help us in keeping calmness, concentrating, etc.(for example I think the clearest when walking in cirlcles or tugging my hair). Keep in mind autists are not less intellectually intelligent than neurotypicals. Our way of communication and working ethic is also objectively superior if we come to think of it. We dont have the objective of "acting normal" and following the myriads of unclear social that we are supposed to magically instinctively recognize so our communication is direct, efficient and to the point. Same with working. Also we don't have a social hierarchy so there isn't the need to demonstrate bullshit normie alphaness.
