Is 2D animation a lost art? Everything looks like trash now, western or eastern.
Pretty much, no one does anything for the sake/their love of it anymore.
Everything's about money now, how fast you can shit stuff out, finding a formula that will allow you to pump near identical shit out faster and have more people eat it up, stretching less out so you can sell more pieces, etc.

Switch to digital is awful too. Digipaint produces bright obnoxious neon colors. The programs they use to make inbetweens produces stiff animations.
There's scenes in DBS that look like god damn fan flash animations.
