Should I read books standing up? Also eat all my food standing up? Go for a walk every single time that I'm bored throughout the day?
Will this fix my back?
Or do I also need doctor intervention if it's gotten this bad?
yeah I would start walking.

get a pull up bar and hang on it once in a while
the rest of those suggestions are also good, especially the doctor. my monitor has an adjustment that makes it elevate and rotate and i read manga standing up for a while. it was pretty comfy

Thanks. OP here btw
Gib link to monitor manufacturer pls
You think I can buy a similar setup for my laptop? So I don't have to buy a new computer?

>not already having back problems
I'm not entirely sure how you can fix the issue. I've been sitting at computers all day long since I was a little kid. My back is so fucked if I sit up straight or stand I can't even breath. I'm sure there is a lot of information online that can point you in the right direction without asking autists.
As a side note you're only 2 years a shut-in. Break out of that cycle before it breaks you and you can't return. I know from experience. You have another year or two. Goodluck brobot.

it's just a cheap shitty dell. just put yours on a box or something
i stood up for circulation, not back problems. i doubt it would help for back problems, you should be able to fix back problems with a nicer chair
nice taste btw

Not person you're responding to. I'm fairly certain it would be easy for make a set-up for any type of laptop. Desktop monitors are more difficult to configure (unless you have the specialized swiveling shit). Just stack a few books and find something to lean your laptop on so you can read while standing.

>since I was a little kid
iktf, though to be fair as a kid I was forced to have at least minimal standing up time bc school 8 hours a day and recess, walking to and back from school etc
Thanks.

Chekt. Thanks. Will consider a box or something.

Bunch of books? My desk is pretty short. I highly doubt I have enough and thick enough books to support my laptop being at eye level.
Not sure 100 percent tho.
