It sucks not having a bike.
>>
I just dropped big $$ on a bike I'll get it next week. Should be fun and I will get fit.
>>
>>28007541
You do deliveries? That actually doesn't sound bad. Stay in shape, work alone, view the city.

That's a really cool bike anon. I wish I had one that nice man

>>28007566
You should buy one anon. What's stopping you man?

I think it's very worth it. It's especially fun when you have a friend to explore and travel with you. Just be sure to stick to your plan of getting fit and riding often.
>>
>>28007598
I'm living on a strict budget of minimum wage.
>>
My girlfriend's parents never taught her how to ride a bike. Currently trying to convince her to try it this summer.
>>
>>28007674
Teaching girls how to do things is really fun and cute, I think that you could form some memories teaching her how to ride. I think that you should definitely encourage her and ride together

>>28007654
Damn dude. I'm sorry. If you ever get some funds consider it man, it's pretty fun.
>>
>>28007654
You can get bikes for pretty cheap, local classified ads in my area have adult bikes for like <$80 - its not going to be anything fancy but it will get you out and riding. Plus if it looks cheap, it probably won't get stolen
>>
>>28007491

Working for food deliveries, that fucked up, what i mostly do is delivering some vegan burgers for rich kids who treat me like shit.

I hope i could be a bike messenger some days and stop seeing all those faggot faces everyday.
I don't feel comfortable working in an office and i need money because i can't get welfare where i live, so that a way i've found to earn something without feeling totally empty.

Plus all my coworkers are all hypocrite lunatic losers except a few of them.
>>
Is your buddy on your back or is it a two-seated bicycle?
>>
>>28007814
Good advice. It's worth saving for.

>>28007947
My buddy is the one in the background of the OP image, you can see my handlebar in the side. We rode to a local school's parking lot and shot some footage for YouTube.
>>
>>28007650
That looks like a really cool hipster friend.

He's my best friend, I live with him. Sometimes it's hard to get him to go do anything because he is so introverted but we have fun when I eventually pry him out of his room.

Where do you live euphoria? In sure there's some sort of Craigslist near you.

I actually live somewhere pretty isolated as well. We are just in town for the next two days. Usually we are stuck on pilgrim internet in a literal village. Iktf I guess

Pic is some abandoned bathroom me and bud explored.

>tfw live in a country where there ate more bicycles than people and where there are cycling lanes everywhere
>everyone here uses their bike daily

feels good
>>
>puncture every cycle
>cheaper just to get the bus
>put on 5pm-1am shifts all week
>have to cycle in
>get foam stuff put in tyres at halfords to stop punctures
>have a comfy cycle to work every day
>through nature reserve the way there, along a long dark road the way back
>use gel seat and padded shorts but arse still fucking killing

cycling can be quite robotic tbqh

>>
i go biking every day, but i'm really starting to lose interest. also the wheels need to be trued and mtb tires/extreme winds make riding HELL. moreso the wind rather than the tires, i can deal with that but i can't really deal with the wind.

>>
Bikes seem so complicated. There are so many different types, parts, etc. How do I know what I want?
>>
During my time as a NEET I've explored every part of London on my bike. I don't think there's an "A road" inside the M25 that I haven't ridden down at some point.

>tfw can't ride a bike
>>
>>28008517
if you just ride around town and stuff just get an old 10 speed off of craigslist for <100 bucks

you'll probably have to place wear parts, though.
>>
>>28008517
I'm the delivery guy from above.
If you don't want something complicated and you live in a flat area, just buy a fixed gear bike, or if you don't want a fixed gear for any reason, a single speed could be perfect, almost no maintain except rust or brakes.

If you want something with gears, but don't want to ride 100 miles, a second hand bike from craiglist shall be perfect. But if you want something new, a road bike with a shimano group set will be perfect, it's durable and reliable.

Your bike is very handsome

>>28008517
Hi to a bike shop and just talk to the salesmen. Ask them to explain different makes and models and when they start bragging about some part that is 'cutting edge', ask them to expand on that part specifically. They know bikes well and won't shame you for asking
If you don't decide to do this go watch a YouTube video. Look up something like 'Bikes for Beginners'.

With your newly acquired knowledge back out of the bike store and buy one literally 85% cheaper on Craigslist.

Good luck.

Cornwall is pretty nice for this.

>>28008676
Yeah, got to see so many different places. London is 40 miles across so there is always interesting things to run into.
>>
there's nowhere to go except around my subdivision, traffic is too crowded during the day and it's way too dark at night(outside of the subdivision).

>>28008726
Is that you in the pic? If so that's a really barren area, looks beautiful

>>28008795
Sounds a lot more interesting than my small town. I really like exploring big cities on foot or on tires. There's a lot to see and it feels productive.

I want to join eggman in his quest around the United States in a van doing just that.
>>

Canada just started to warm up so I go on my first ride of the season, go too fast and fall, scrape about 4 layers of skin off my shoulder and hand, cant wear a shirt or jerk off without feeling pain

Thank god, I was wearing my helmet, may have died...
>>
>>28009250
also the crash, broke my gear dial thingy so I think instead of fixing it, I might buy a new one, any recommendations, looking for a hardtail mountain bike.
>>
>>28009405
