Continuous population growth in a limited area is not physically possible. The population decline in Japan is a natural result of overpopulation combined with increased living standards.
The real problem is their social security pyramid scheme that requires continuous growth to avoid collapse. Europe has the same problem, and it's used as an excuse for immigration that appeals to economic conservatives.
The old fuck generations had like 6 kids and they can't seriously expect to have enough kids to keep the rate the same as that. Africans and Muslims can still do it but not first world societies.
