My mother is what I wish more women were like. She only ever had two boyfriends in her life, and the only reason for the second (my father) is because her first boyfriend died in a car crash.
They were together for a decade before he cheated on her and left. She didn't slut around or try to find new men, she never introduced any strange boyfriends into my life, she dedicated the next 15 years of her life to her work and to raising me until I was off to college before she even considered dating again.
I've never met a girl from my generation who was half the woman my mother was.
