If you're overweight or obese, exercise is WAY more than 20% of the key to weight loss, with the most important part being calories in < calories out, which is directly tied to exercise. The only part of the diet that matters here is cutting out fat shitter foods like soda, candy, potato chips, desserts, etc, and even then you're gonna lose a lot of weight if you just fucking exercise and don't eat like a sow.
Not until you're down to a normal weight does the actual content of your diet start becoming super important.
