>start lifting
>loose 20 pounds, look really aesthetic
>decide to get buff
>gain 66 pounds, mostly fat, in 9 months(!)
>knee injury
>now I am just fat
>my skin looks like torn apart
Help me robots, I cannot forgive myself for gaining this 66 pounds in 9 months. I had always this imagine in my head being to small, and after the knee injury this picture shattered and now I see what a fat fuck I became. I seriously believe that I should kill myself for this fuck up, but I cant. I already lost half of it, but comparing myself to what I have looked like makes me hate myself

You don't bulk by gaining a bunch of fat and then turning it into muscle you retard, you were supposed to be turning all those extra calories into muscle while you were eating them.
That being said, why can't you work on your upper body with a knee injury? Plenty of guys skip legs for no reason at least you have an excuse.
Also diet.

Swim it off till your knee heals.

>You don't bulk by gaining a bunch of fat and then turning it into muscle you retard,
I know that, I just ate real dirty and i cant believe I didnt realize my calorie intake was awry wrong until it was too late. This makes me question my psyche.
After I realized I was too fat I got into a year of depression and didnt leave my bed for a year. I picked up training, and lost a good amount of it already, but I am more interested in how I can live with such a mistake, I camt stop beatimg myself up over it. I dont think I can stop it wven if I have my normal weight again, then I was 3 years of my youth fat...
>he fell for the squat meme
why does /fit/ give advice that injure people?
>>27982647
because it's the best advice there is.
Injury comes from doing it wrong. Doing it right makes you much more impervious to injury.

Lots of people gain weight, most people don't kill themselves over it.
Stop being a pussy and do upper body or swim like the other guy said and change your diet and work it off. Learn from your mistakes. That's what life is about.
People have learned from far worse mistakes than getting fat dude.

>not solely focusing on upper body gains
If you don't go /gorilla mode/, then why even lift?
