Extroverts are more well-adapted to the world and enjoy more rich and meaningful lives without necessarily being less intelligent or less creative.

Discuss.

I'm sorry for your lots but ENTJs piss their lives away because even if they are lucky enough to enjoy success despite their efforts they simply don't have the intellectual capacity or inclination to direct their attention to achieving anything valuable.

ENTJs may know how to make things happen and get things done but they have no fucking clue how to evaluate what should get done.

Best case scenario is that you find an INTJ or INFJ whose insight you respect and try your best to make their vision a reality.

This. There a plenty of extroverted people who get shunned because they are obnoxious, boisterous and boorish.

I'll agree with this sort of. I don't think you have to be some reclusive shadow figure to be smart, though that's normally how they're portrayed in movies.

But in an academic environment, yeah they have an advantage. I was in a lecture the other day and two people a few rows in front of me were talking about content. They always talk to each other about the subject.

It was only for 5 minutes. But those 5 minutes about 5-10 times a week adds up to a good extra hour of studying. That over 13-15 weeks means those normies will get to talk about an extra 12+ hours a semester on every subject.

I think if I had friends at uni I'd be more inclined to do better, simply because I'm competitive, but I'd also have means of discussing the content. Sometimes if I understand something completely wrong I won't realise until weeks later. If I talked about it with friends then I could be corrected immediately.

Extrovert/introvert just describes how long you enjoy being around people. The saddest fuckers and socially inept extroverts. Sociable introverts are top tier.

Or instead you could think about the content and not bother with your retard normie classmates. Intellectual checkmate.

I do this, but I appreciate talking out content and explaining it to someone is one of the best means of learning the content yourself. I literally sit in my room and speak out all my notes, explaining them as if I was talking to someone because it's such a useful way for me to revise.

If I pause and stumble I know I don't know the content well enough. If I can't talk about the content in simple terms, then I know I'd struggle to be succinct on exams.

Also:

This guy is right. I know how to socialize but I don't need to.

Of course

who the fuck even came up with the "le nerds r da intelligent ones", "le ur bullies r goin to live bad lives while u will exceed just b patient :P" memes anyway?

I socialise easily, but that doesn't report me any benefit. How the fuck am I top tier?

It only shows how much of a loner you are when you bail out of social events, since everybody knows you're not simply shy or insecure.
>>
>>27975608
Change extroverts to people with high self-esteem and world to individualist societies and this statement is 100% correct.

>Or instead you could think about the content and not bother with your retard normie classmates. Intellectual checkmate.

Keep in mind we're talking about life in general. The advantages of being a natural extrovert can't be measured against an socially capable introvert in a small scale, it happens on the larger scale.

Let's take your work for instance. As an extrovert I hang around with my colleagues all the time as a rule, because it comes naturally. Without trying, every single day I learn more about them, I get constant updates on the daily who's and what's, I hear of and play a part in meaningful discussions, decisions, and make friends on a regular basis.

A sociable introvert can certainly be great at the occasional parties, but naturally making friends, connections, and amassing the information, favors, and various networking benefits that come with it every minute of every day without expending an ounce of energy on it is something else entirely. You can also reason the energy benefits. Where an introvert, by definition, EXPENDS energy while hanging out with other people, and extrovert recharges it. So for an extrovert doing all that and reaping all those benefits, is actually recharging him and giving him that much more motivation and energy to focus on his job, those overtime hours, hobbies where he gets to see even more friends etc.

Now, being either one doesn't make or break you or your career. It has to do with more than that, how you treat other people and how good you are at what you do. But in a social, networked world, it's pretty obvious that a personality naturally prone to socializing and networking WILL have the advantage.

What do you mean "bail out" of social events? Are they mandatory?

I don't say "no thanks I wanna play games instead" I give them some kind of reason.
>>
>>27976294
>social, networked world

this immediately disqualifies you from having an adult opinion - if posting a four paragraph thesis in r9k already didn't - but here is a rebuttal anyway

>hanging around my colleagues
>learning about colleagues
>amassing information about colleagues
>getting updates on colleagues
>playing a part in 'meaningful discussions' with colleagues
>making friends at work

Do you do any fucking work?

Are you capable of achieving anything outside the echo chamber hugbox that extroverts set up inside otherwise functioning workplaces to protect their emotions from their intellectual inadequacy?

Not giving a single fuck about any of your nonsense means I devote my time and energy to learning things and doing things that matter. I learn more than you, I don't get caught up in distractions, I don't bother with petty bullshit, and I earn respect through my accomplishments.

My jimmies are rustled about this because people like you actually think you're useful.

Nothing is fair or balanced in the world OP

You can find stupid and foolish that live better lives than the smart and wise
Introvert could see the world while extrovert dies in his homeown never setting foot outside his home area
Selfish person could be given the world while a selfless one will be blamed for all it's problems
Ugly and horrid that find love while beautiful wilt and die alone
Some are given the world and squander it and Others fight for everything and are still denied

You could be born with nothing or everything
You could have millions of life experiences or none

The only certainty you have is you will die and be forgotten by the passage of time as every human before you.

>the butthurt
I have a blooming career, can with some confidence claim that I'm one of the top 10 people in my particular area of technology in my small country, and I work my ass off. Out of the dozens of people in my project, I'm among the top 2 who do most of the work, and my superiors, colleagues and our client knows this. So my conscience is clear.

To be perfectly honest, your borderline autistic butthurt comment simply emphasized my earlier point. A socially capable person would like to know more before making his damaging assumptions known. He'd likely have the emotional maturity to understand that assumptions as a rule are dangerous, when you don't know the person. Even if you're smart enough to not overreact the way you did here in real life, that undertone of insult and presumptuous attitude will still be there. And it will damage you and your career.

Evidently being sociable doesn't mean you just nag and gossip all day long. It means you can talk smoothly while working, it means you keep your ears open about any non-connected issues you could be able to help with, or things that could be helpful to you in figuring out what to do. It means you are constantly communicating with the customer to avoid misunderstandings and wasted time on figuring out potential issues. It means you have fun and enhance the working atmosphere during dinner, and it means you're naturally following the trends of technology, resourcing issues between projects etc making you expertly aware of how to help others and how to get help when needed.

Look. You can cry and hate and blame all you want. The fact that *all* big companies know and support, is that the time for basement-dwelling loners was over 20 years ago. Sure, introverts need to be considered like any other personality types should. But once more, modern life is MUCH easier for an extrovert. Just go out, get experience working for a few different companies and projects like I have, and you'll see.

Beautifully said.

Death is, indeed, the ultimate equalizer. No matter how good, or how bad your or anyone else's life was, it'll end.

The richest, prettiest, smartest, happiest person in the world, will find the length of his stay insignificantly short, unable to enjoy it for any real length of time. The must unfortunate, ugliest, loneliest, abused person on the planet, will find his suffering will come to an just as quickly, not having to endure forever.

Even the best day will pass, and the very worst will never last. Ultimately, we'll all die alone, be forgotten, and vanish from existence for a literal eternity. There's some comfort in that, when the going feels too tough. Real life on a larger scale of time has no winners, and no losers.
