It's true too. Go to an image morphing site, take images of women you find very attractive. Merge them together and you'll find a younger version of your mom. It's creepy as hell.

that would explain while i like mom son porn so much where the women is a curvy thick high test breeding mashine
my parents are ugly though
I got all the good recessive genes tbqh
well your parents are your clostest exemple of successfull reproduction, so it doesn't seem odd that you would uncisciously seek something similar
HMM
my mom was 37 when she had me I never knew her when she was young and hot.
However almost all the women I've been attracted to have the same ancestry as me and a lot of them could pass for my sister.
So maybe you are on to something.
Or maybe it's just because I'm ethnically british and all the hot memes say we like to inbreed.
This actually isn't true of me at all. My mom is a tall, high test Italian, and I like petite skinny pale girls. However, an aunt I was quite close with growing up is pretty much a dead-on match for my tastes. I guess my uncle and I like the same type, lol.
This is not a new finding in any way.

When I see a girl with dark short hair, I think she's cute, but then I also think she looks like my mother, and I find it strange. The merge is somewhat close, with pictures of Winona Ryder, Rachel Weisz and Keira Knightley. Maybe all this is reinforced by the fact I'm an only child and a gf could double for the sister I never had.

The theory is that it's imprinting. they've done studies where adopted children have the same preference for people who look like their parents.
My parents aren't fucking asian

Maybe I didn't get it because I barely ever saw my mom when I was little. She was a corporate VP who was barely ever home even when she wasn't out of town on business, and I was raised mostly by nannies.
It'd be interesting to see if I could find photos of those old nannies and see if they look like the kind of women I'm into.

their biological ones or their adoptive ones?

Freud pls go
Yeah people marry those that are genetically close to them. So obviously your parents and your spouse are going to look similar. Genetic attraction looks like it could be real.

evolutionary explanation for narcissism desu

The adopted ones. Implying that it's imprinting in early age.

Not Freud. You don't want to actually have sex with your parents. They just influence what you find attractive early on that becomes subconscious criteria for pretty.
The waifu face morph test works for most people. I've noticed that there's 3 or 4 different types of women I really like, with 1 stand being a young version of my mom.
>it doesn't matter in the least because you will never have sex anyway
