Since we had such a great one last night.
let's try again.
Hoping to dodge the racism this time, however, if it's inevitable anyway.

I've had an extremely bad case of yellow fever most of my life, I can actually pin point a lot of the factors in my childhood that led to me turning out this way which is pretty interesting to me in a way
I'm on the precipice of finally being able to have an Asian gf. One of the classmates in my Korean class is among the most adorable people I've ever met in my life. She's not exceptionally cute or anything but everything about her makes me want to smile and do everything I can to make her life easier. Those sentiments have been coming through pretty heavily in my actions towards her lately, and she has been subtly reciprocating
The thing is, I can't date her. She's just too good of a person. I'm a fucking trainwreck who has only been able to create a loose road to the future for myself because for whatever reason people in academia like me and decide to reach out
but I'm a self loathing alcoholic with mood swings that are becoming more and more frequent with every month (as I drink more soju I can feel that I'm falling into another low point gradually), I can't just force such a toxic element into the life of someone I care about
and yet I can't stop adoring her nor can I stop showing that I adore her in my actions and I feel like at a point this will be rude to her but I don't know what to do.

I've been playing fighting games for a decade now.
The thing is, the FGC is a complete sausagefest. A lot of people meet their SOs through their interests but that's not really possible when it comes to fighting games. If there's a girl at your locals there's a 99% chance she's already taken. If she isn't then like half your locals will be trying to get into her pants anyway. Shit is whack.
That's why I've been trying to branch out and find new hobbies but it's hard.

I don't know what to do. He seems like a cool dude but I don't even know if I can say that because I can't tell if I know him at all. He's tense 100% of the time.

Honestly, it surprises me sometimes. On one hand, they're ridiculously lucky they met when they were in college (set up by a mutual friend, at that). On the other hand, looking at pictures of them during their college years (and a little bit earlier, and a little bit later), they both were fairly attractive, not to be weird about it.
I honestly feel like they're both worse off for being with each other. My mom had a decent amount of potential, but with my dad and his decent job, she never really had to put in effort. Conversely, my dad always worked hard, but you could tell there was a struggle to be 100% in all areas. I don't think he was ever a social guy, but even with just juggling work, being a husband, and being a father, it was a lot, especially with more time. He still puts in the effort, with work certainly.
I have no idea what kind of man my father would be without my mom. A small part of me knows that that's a good thing, but like most men, I wish I knew my father as an independent single man. Any tips on getting along with introverts ? I'm shy around strangers and introverted with my parents but am otherwise the clown of my groups of friends. Almost got a shy girlfriend, she was really touchy feely and once when I bent over she took my head and pushed it towards her crotch but I had no idea how to get it going with her.

Well in the past the morons (back in stormfag days) were king. They were just being silly and heavily opinionated, trying to galvanize people. Now stats are king. The general opinion would be that, yes people are different, Asians/Jews are king (and some portion are really upset about the Jews, could just be memes), black people are bottom tier. But if you start a thread about a hypothetical race mixing scenario where there's a really smart black girl and a white dude. You tend to get the idea of how they are. There's some groups who are concerned with 'racial purity', which generally extends beyond just skincolor (Scandinavians aren't Anglo-Saxon for instance). There's some who express it as a guilty pleasure. There's others who start to argue about if race matters on an individual level.
All kinds of shit. Just go there and don't take things seriously if you want to know.
I'm not sure they'd be holding race against you. It's more of a general world view. Like generalizing countries or ideology.
