I basically learned this after graduating from college. Chads with shitty grades but with lots of extracurricular activities got good jobs while me an my geeky friends went to grad school, taught English overseas, or became basement dwellers

the best way to get a job is probably to do volunteer work. i know it sounds shit and you will get entry level jobs saying you need "paid experience" but for degree level they really appreciate it experience in the field.
I've been doing some volunteer work and I have now got some connections i can keep in touch with in case i need more experience, or a decent reference. Obviously I tried to be as friendly as possible but I'm not excellent at communicating/socialising
