Aw I'm sorry op. If you have cystic acne then face wash and most topical things won't help much.
If you haven't already gone to a dermatologist and can afford it, you should.
My guess is It's probably either hormonal or food related. Maybe you have a problem with dairy?
Don't pick or scrub your face too much it will leave scars! I just 'wash' my face with cold water morning and night and moisturize with natural cold refined coconut oil.
From my experience diet changes and natural products have been the BEST things to clear my skin.
I really hope you take my advice and I really hope your skin gets better!

I think the cause of acne varies from person to person
For me I was a dirty NEET for years showered maybe once a week, or whenever even I got tired of my own musk, and yet I never had a problem with acne.
But whenever I ate anything salty like chips in a large quantity, I would break out immediately. I've cut off chips completely and I haven't had any serious acne in years. If I by chance eat a small amount of chips I wake up the next morning with a big red dot on my cheek, so I know this is the case.
For me it's salty, some people it's oily foods, others it's grease. If you have perpetual acne it's like something about your lifestyle that's causing it.
