There's no such thing as color, only wavelengths of light and behavior in response to certain wavelengths. The different ways we behave in response to visible light traces out the ghosts of abstract objects that don't really exist but by convenience can be usefully referenced as though they did exist, similar to the agreed upon illusion of paper money representing value in property or labor.
