ADHD and asperger fag here.

Meditation helped me a lot. Would've flunked out of college had I not learned to calm my ass.
>>
>>27957415
There's no logic to that. How are medications unnatural? And what does dependency have to do with anything? Have you even tried them before?
>>
>>27957109
There is a way to end it permanently.

Used Concerta for a year. Worked fantastic until one day my heart rate shot up to like 160 and I almost passed out of a heart attack.

May I suggest meditation?
if really can't even do 10 minutes of meditation, then yoga, or tai chi, or qi gong.
Also less internet. And a good track that helps you concentrate when doing something.
Something that could work is set yourself a worspace. Set the ambient correctly, tell yourself. "Okay I'm going to study for 30 minutes now, no distractions". Cut off anything that could distract you.
Make some kind of ritual. Even if it's just hand brewing some coffee or cleaning your workspace. While you do it don't think of anime tiddies, rather on the thing you're about to do.
And when you feel you're starting to burn out... go and eat something, relax for a little while, if you need to study/work more don't go to the internet or your videagaems just yet, try to stay calm and look at your surroundings, focus on what is moving you to get up and start doing shit, or what thoughts are driving you into watching your cantonese toons or masterbating to the lolis.
I think it's a matter of clearing your mind, trying to focus that energy on looking at the things around you and into yourself.
I don't know yet but I probably have ADD (highly likely), so I'm telling this to myself as well

Yup. ADHD here.

As for treating it without drugs. Behavioral therapy works pretty good if you stick to it. But it can be hard some times.
Making a system of organization and sticking with it long enough for it to become habit helps a lot, but again is hard.
And practicing mindfulness and meditation helps a little to wind down and deal with not so great feels related to adult ADHD. It also helps recharge a little focus when you really need to get something done but running on empty.
If you are really restless then it will be hard at first. But even doing it a little bit is helpful, at least to me and the few other people I know who have stuck with it for longer then a week.

There are no easy ways to deal with ADHD. But it is worth learning how to be the best you can be.

>symptoms disappear without drugs
>adhd

Exercise can help, but if you legitimately have ADHD like I do, just take some meds. Even a low dose will help you so much

ADHD seeking autism diagnosis here.
Got through high-school perfectly fine without ever being drugged.

Crashed immediately on arrival in university and dropped out.

If you wait a few years I'll let you know if drugs help :^(
